PETG (polyethylene terephthalate 1,4cyclohexanedimethanol ester) is a transparent, amorphous copolyester with high impact resistance: its impact strength is 310 times that of modified polyacrylic esters, and it will not turn white or crack when cold bent. The balance between rigidity and toughness can be improved by adding carbon fiber, while retaining the toughness of PETG. It is not easy to break, has excellent light transmittance, and has a glossiness close to glass texture. It is suitable for applications that require clear vision and has good tolerance to most chemicals. It is suitable for medical and industrial fields. Conventional grades can withstand temperatures of 70-80 ºC, while special models
